Another in a series of sickness-related self-portraits. I’m such a rubbish patient.
I finally succumbed to common sense and visited the doctor today. This is the first time in years that I’ve had to go, and the first time since I moved to Beeston. In fact, I had to register first as I’ve been too lazy to do that in the past.
They were very nice over there and the doctor had a listen to my chest and prescribed some Amoxicillin, an antibiotic. It appears that my chest is infected, as suspected, and they may help, although one of the nurses said that there were a number of “lingerers” going round that took weeks to get rid of.
So, should be back at work tomorrow, coughing my lungs up to everyone else’s annoyance. I do feel a little better though
