Rotating images

Thanks to a spot of googling I’ve managed to successfully install a script that should rotate the image at the top of the page with a series of images in a directory. At the moment I’m finding that Firefox is caching the old image, so you may or may not notice the image changing. Press “CTRL & F5” together to reload the whole page and see what I’ve done.

The old image is there (the lovely Anna Kornikova) plus I’ve added a modified image of Kelly Brook’s magnificent chest. I’ll add more later once I’ve downloaded some pictures I’ve taken on my camera. These new images will not be boobie-related but of things that are related to me or people I know.

Thanks to Sonspring for the article and Automatic Labs for the script.

  1. Hey, I found your site through my referral logs. I usually don’t have to Ctrl + F5 to get things to refresh for this method. I updated my tutorial and provided an example page, since I don’t make use of it on my site anymore. Also, I added a warning about not having Thumbs.db or .DS_STORE (invisible Windows and OSX files) uploaded with the images directory. I’m not sure if that’s what’s causing the problem for you or not. Cheers.

  2. Thanks for popping by Nathan! I’m having the problem specifically with Firefox at the moment. IE seemed to be fine for some reason but Firefox just keeps loading the same image – force loading the page sorts it out though.

I don’t have any other files in that directory so I have no idea what’s causing it. Nice find for the script though – I have a man who knows these things looking into it for me 😉
