Jo and I had a rare night out tonight. It’s her birthday, so I treated her to a couple of hours of my company. I also ensured that I had access to cocktails by taking her to The Berliner bar in Beeston.
It’s a recent addition to the Beeston drinking scene. Its name suggests ‘German’, but it’s more ‘Continental’ I’d say. The beers are lacking in variation, but there are plenty of cocktails to choose from and a nice selection of pizza if you’re hungry.
It’s also decorated in a very interesting way. It’s like they’ve exclusively used broken up pallets for the walls (it’s much nicer than I’ve made it sound).
Here I am examining the interesting posters on the wall in the little boys’ room.
