The big wheel that cannot be named ‘The Nottingham Eye’ is back in Market Square. It is very large.
I took this on the way back from a very entertaining work outing at ‘Escapologic‘ in Castle Gate. We had two teams – three lads and four ladies. Us lads did ‘The Butcher’ – a nasty Saw-themed murder room with dismembered body parts and all kinds of bloody surprises – while the girls ended up doing the hardest room, Curio.
We managed to escape (through a fridge door!) with a few minutes to spare, while the girls ended up in prison after a failed attempt. We all enjoyed it!
I had a night out with the boys tonight so got to stroll through Market Square during the later evening. They’ve started constructing the big Ferris wheel that cannot be called ‘The Nottingham Eye’.
It’s an impressive structure. We’ve been in this during previous appearances and the view from the top is stunning. I live in a quite beautiful city, full of character.
I ended up walking through Nottingham Market Square last night and it looks like they’ve decided to erect the big wheel again.
Is there anyone that hasn’t been on it yet? There’s a nice view from up there, to be sure, but isn’t it about time they found something different to use in the square?
