We live fairly close to Broadgate Park in Beeston and there’s this lovely memorial to the Great War located in there.
I’ve seen some lovely photos of this on Flickr before and have often tried to get a nice shot of it myself but my attempts today looked pretty poor on my screen. Still, I tried a few processing options in Camera+ and found that the HDR option exposed the statue quite nicely while bringing out the sky too.
I had to reduce the effect a bit to get rid of some haloing (is that even a word?) and I ended up quite pleased with the result.
